Nowhere in the world is the growth of hospitality and F&B retail more exhilarating than in Asia. Here, consumers are discerning and food trends are dynamic. With a sixth sense for staying ahead of the curve, Big Cat Group have built the networks needed to deliver exceptional products and services across the region.
Before setting up the company, William Lyon, the group’s chief executive officer, made a name for himself at Hong Kong heavyweight Jardine Matheson. He honed his retail expertise at the company for eighteen years before he was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. “I started Big Cat Group because I felt that a very good way to test oneself is to try to start something from scratch,” says William. “I love the hospitality and retail industries and wanted to help support the growth of consumer brands in Asia.”
Big Cat Group operates in Hong Kong and Taiwan. It has been instrumental in introducing iconic British brand Fortnum & Mason to Asia-Pacific through luxury retailers such as Lane Crawford, as well as sourcing and securing the brand’s first flagship location in Asia at K-11 Musea in Hong Kong.
“Our company culture is unique. Everyone who works with us believes in what they do,” says William. When searching for a corporate services provider, William was looking for that same commitment and passion. “Robin Harris is a corporate services veteran in Hong Kong,” he says. “The team at a-pass are approachable and solution-orientated. They provide good service, well-considered professional advice and peace of mind. I especially like how they are proactive and responsive, and they always know what the next step is.”
With exciting projects in the pipeline, trust and discretion are paramount for William. “a-pass move fast and are ready with custom solutions, especially when business development opportunities come our way.” To date, Big Cat Group have used a-pass services to support the group’s operations through company secretarial, registered office and audit coordination services.
“At the end of the day, a-pass is a hassle-free way to conserve our resources. We focus on what we do best—and so do they.”
